Every calibration begins with the EPOCH Metabolic Lifestyle Questionnaire, which incorporates the internationally validated RAND-36 health survey, capturing how you actually feel and function across physical and mental dimensions. Alongside it: a comprehensive biomarker panel and microbiome analysis. The programme then runs across twelve weeks, delivered online, with live bespoke webinars and one-to-one access to Robin, the consultant physician, and Amanda, the senior specialist dietitian. A single continuous glucose monitoring period during the twelve weeks shows how your metabolism behaves across real days, and is calibrated to drive engagement with the preventive work. The questionnaire, biomarkers and microbiome analysis are repeated at the close of the programme, so change is measured rather than assumed.

The months before conception are a window in which preparation produces a meaningful return. Nutritional status, inflammatory state, hormonal regulation, the gut microbiome and metabolic readiness all shape the conditions a child is conceived into and develops within. ORIGIN calibrates the clinical engine to that window, with the biomarker panel, microbiome analysis and clinical interpretation focused on preconception readiness.
ORIGIN can be undertaken by one parent or by both. A couple can undertake ORIGIN together for £8,000 combined, with each partner receiving their own biomarker and microbiome assessment, their own continuous glucose monitoring period and their own one-to-one access to Robin and Amanda. Clinical access continues through conception and into early pregnancy.
ORIGIN opens with an in-person introductory day for the ORIGIN cohort. Participants meet others preparing for conception, and the cohorts for each calibration do not mix. Couples attend together. The day sets the clinical foundation and begins the cohort relationship that runs through the twelve weeks.
ORIGIN is available at two levels. The twelve-week online programme, at £4,850, delivers the full clinical engine, the deep-dive biomarker and microbiome analysis, the continuous glucose monitoring and the one-to-one clinical access, online across twelve weeks. The residential optimum, at £13,500, delivers the same clinical engine residentially at Lucknam Park, under the four conditions that make behaviour change hold: removal from environment, concentrated engagement, social context and protected cognitive bandwidth.
The residential optimum for ORIGIN is ORIGIN Immerse, the preconception cohort, for both parents together. Each residential cohort is held separately, so the room holds only participants on the same calibration. Additional clinical assessment, such as imaging, is available where clinically indicated. ORIGIN Immerse is the most complete way to undertake the ORIGIN work.
