Corporate catering

EPOCH NUTRITION engages with corporate catering operations on the proposition that the food the workforce eats every working day is one of the most consequential health interventions the organisation delivers, whether or not it is framed that way.

Most chronic disease in the second half of life is the late expression of a single underlying biology, namely smouldering chronic inflammation, driven by metabolic dysfunction, deeply entangled with the gut microbiome. Addressed early, through what we eat, how we sleep and how we move, this biology is genuinely modifiable. The result is decades of energy, sharpness and capacity.

The proposition for corporate catering

Corporate catering operations feed knowledge workers across years and decades. The prevention-led calibration of the catering operation is a direct intervention on workforce cognitive sharpness, energy stability, sleep architecture and the underlying biology that drives presenteeism, absenteeism and the long-term healthcare costs the organisation carries.

What an engagement involves

A scoping conversation with the CHRO, head of facilities, head of wellbeing or catering operations lead. Where engagement proceeds, the partnership covers: the Nutrition Assessment Framework applied to the catering operation, calibration of menus against the same clinical principles, training of catering and operations staff, optional clinical engagement with senior staff through the EPOCH clinical programmes (BALANCE corporate cohorts, ADVISE corporate cohorts, TRANSITION for senior staff approaching retirement), and the Foundation pathway.

The corporate cohort routes

Corporate cohorts of the EPOCH Programme calibrations, or of ADVISE, can be scoped alongside the catering engagement. Volume pricing is set per engagement. The route through is the For Your Organisation pathway on this site.

An initial conversation

Institutional engagement begins with a scoping conversation

Substantive clinical and strategic work rather than a sales meeting. Calibrated to the institutional context.
