Metabolic Days are the introduction to EPOCH. A small group, a beautifully calibrated lunch built around the same clinical principles, and a clinical session with Robin and Amanda that opens the conversation about the biology of the second half of life.
Most chronic disease in the second half of life is the late expression of a single underlying biology, namely smouldering chronic inflammation, driven by metabolic dysfunction, deeply entangled with the gut microbiome. Addressed early, through what we eat, how we sleep and how we move, this biology is genuinely modifiable. The result is decades of energy, sharpness and capacity.
A day-format introduction to the prevention-led clinical work that anchors EPOCH METABOLIC. Held at premium venues across the UK. The session covers smouldering chronic inflammation, metabolic dysfunction and the gut microbiome at an accessible level, with the canonical message rendered for a sophisticated lay audience. The metabolically calibrated lunch is itself part of the teaching.
Anyone considering the longer view of their health and ready to take a serious step into understanding the biology that determines it. Particularly suited to those who are unsure where to start, who want to meet Robin and Amanda before committing to a clinical programme, or who want to bring a partner or friend into the conversation.
A small-group clinical session with Robin and Amanda. Metabolically calibrated lunch. Q&A and informal conversation. A written summary of the prevention-led framework. Signposting into the appropriate next step within EPOCH, whether ASSESS as the formal entry into the clinical work, or one of the deeper programmes if findings indicate.
Most people who attend a Metabolic Day move into ASSESS as the natural next step. ASSESS is the population-level biomarker screen that produces the RAG report on your current metabolic health. From there, ADVISE, EXAMINE, BALANCE, ORIGIN or IMMERSE are recommended based on findings.
